The Soundtrack: 195 Tracks Made in Suno
I am not a musician. But I needed 15 mood packs with 10+ context tracks each — menu, training, 3 fight intensities, story, intro, win, loss.
Suno let me generate track after track, iterating on style prompts until each mood pack had its own identity. The 8-Bit pack sounds like a lost NES cartridge. The Synthwave pack sounds like a midnight drive. The DnB pack makes training montages feel like actual training montages.
I made bangers. I'm not going to be humble about it. I was laying in bed with headphones on, banging my head like a crazy person to the beat, saying 'holy fuck this is fire' out loud. My ex-girlfriend can vouch.
My favorites: Funk, House, and Latino. They're funky, groovy, and they make everything feel alive. Rock goes hard too. I'm less into Silent and 8-Bit personally, but they serve their purpose in-game.
The cleanup was the real work — trimming, making loops seamless, matching energy levels across contexts so the crossfade between 'training' and 'fight' doesn't feel jarring. 195 MP3s total. They take up most of the 490MB deploy folder.
Planning to put the full soundtrack on Spotify. If the music slaps standalone, imagine what it does when you're in the ring.
